The Underground Mapper (TUM) Logo

The Underground Mapper logo features a black and white notebook with the words “The Underground Mapper” written on the 1st page of the notebook.

A notebook is an essential stationary for any advocate and solicitor and so the notebook used on TUM is to symbolise the continuing craft of The Underground Mapper.

The colours of black and white used for The Underground Mapper’s logo have a twofold meaning. Traditionally, the colours of black and white are significant to the attire of an advocate and solicitor as the colour black demonstrates noninfluence and a submission to justice and the colour white signifies light, goodness, transparency, innocence and purity.

However, and additionally, here on The Underground Mapper (TUM), and apart from the colours of black and white having significance to an advocate and solicitors’ attire, the colour black will also mark a sign of solemn mourning for all the injustices in the world today that may never be overcome.

Thus, the colour black on The Underground Mapper’s logo bears a heavier twofold meaning. It will stand as a constant reminder – not only as a symbol of noninfluence and justice in pursuit, but also a quiet mourning for the injustices the world has yet to overcome and, may never overcome.

[*Note: Where my physical or virtual stationary (if any) cannot reflect a black notepad, the reverse will take effect where, the title “The Underground Mapper” will be in black on a white notepad to reflect the dual meaning of TUM’s colours as defined above.]
